China Glaze-Full Spectrum & Revlon-Not So Blue-berry

I also picked up CG Full Spectrum this weekend. I decided I NEEDED it after seeing some delicious swatches from Nouveau Cheap. If you love glitter like I do then you need this polish! I was pleasantly surprised by the easy application. I used three coats on my ring finger but two would have been fine. All of the other nails are two coats of Not So Blue-berry which I LOVE! The color is so flattering on my poor pale skin and smells so good. I made the accents using tape. One coat of Seche Vite on top.

Finger Paints-Hipnotic

This weekend my husband treated my by taking me to Sallys for the first time! Well...the first time since I fell in love with nail polish. Nail polish was buy two get one free.  One of the polishes I picked out was Finger Paints Hipnotic. I have never used a magnetic polish before using this so I was SUPER excited! I also grabbed a China Glaze magnetix and to my surprise the Finger Paints polish was in my opinion much better the the CG. Anywhooo here are swatches!

Tape Manicure

I decided to spice up my Barefoot in Blue nails a little bit. I used Revlon-Mad About Mango (Which smells amazing..but not like mangos) Milani-Tropical Fiesta and Seche Vite as the topcoat. (Not Pictured)

I used black electrical tape to tape off section of the nail then painted and peeled! It works like a charm everytime.

Have you ever done a tape mani? I would love to see your pictures!

Essie-Barefoot in Blue

Essie and TOMS teamed up for this limited edition shade called Barefoot in Blue which benefits TOMS One Day Without Shoes Campaign.
TOMS gives one pair of shoes to someone in need for every pair purchased and their annual One Day Without Shoes campaign encourages people to go totally barefoot to better understand how it feels to be without shoes. To learn more visit onedaywithoutshoes.com.

Application was great as I expect from Essie. This is two coats with no top coat. The pictures are not very accurate as far as the color. This is actually a lovely cornflower blue shade. I actually won this polish from the TOMS facebook page!

Easter Mani-Deborah Lippmann+Essie

First off..sorry for the awful pics. They were taken from my cell phone. I hope to get a good camera soon so that I will have better quality picture for you all!

For this mani I used 3 coats of Deborah Lippmann-Almost Paradise and Essie-Watermelon
Almost Paradise was OK as far as application. It was a bit streaky so I needed three coats for even coverage.

To create this look I used got most of the polish off of the brush of the Watermelon shade and randomly swiped the brush across my nails! I love this look and it is super easy.

I hope you enjoyed my first post! Thanks for reading! <3
